Okay, so people always ask me:“What’s my art style called?” or“Why do you always draw hearts and flowers and like… tiles?”
And honestly? I never planned it. I didn’t sit down like: today I shall invent a style. It just kinda happened—like a love letter to everything I am: Arab, cozy, colorful, sentimental, and a little extra 💅.
So here’s a cute lil breakdown of my style (aka QoolCool Sora Style) and why I’m obsessed with it:
1. The Tiles = My Culture My Art Style
You know those beautiful, colorful, geometric tiles in old Arab homes?Yeah. I’m in love. They remind me of teta’s kitchen, random balconies in Haifa, and the dreamy patterns I grew up seeing but didn’t realize were art.Now I make them part of everything—from mug backgrounds to blog headers.Arab tile art = core aesthetic. Period.
2. The Hearts = My Softness
I’m a feeling person. And hearts? They’re kinda my whole personality. Not the cheesy kind... more like:💖 “I love this moment.”❤️ “You deserve softness.”💕 “She’s in her feminine healing era.”I put hearts in my frames, my mugs, my stickers—because they make art feel warm, kind, and full of love.
3. The Flowers = Growth + Girlhood
Flowers are for more than spring. For me, they mean:
blooming
softness
Arab femininity
all the aunties who wear flowery dresses in the summerThey’re visually gentle, but still bold—just like us.
4. The Oval Frames = Story Mode
Every illustration feels like a frozen moment in time.So I wrap it in an oval—like a portal or a window.Inside the oval: a cozy girl, a steaming mug, a messy kitchen, a dreamy stare.Outside the oval: a whole world of design, with hearts and flowers popping out like they just couldn’t stay in.That’s me.
5. The Vibe = Arab Joy, Wrapped in Color
QoolCool Sora isn’t just an art style. It’s a vibe. It’s when Arab culture meets cozy girlhood. It’s when tradition gets a glow-up.It’s when you drink your morning coffee and think: this cup gets me.
